GUIDELINES FOR VISA APPLICANTS
  • • All visitors to Ghana must be in possession of a valid passport or legal travel documents.
  • • All visitors entering Ghana must have valid entry visas or permits, issued by a Ghana diplomatic mission or consulate abroad or any other visa issuing authority mandated by the Ghana Government to act on its behalf. (ECOWAS and other countries nationals which has specific bilateral agreements with the Government of Ghana, are exempted)
  • • The visa may be granted for single or multiple entry. Please Note; multiple entries visa endorsed for six months, for example, means the applicant is granted unlimited entries into Ghana within six months of the date of issue of the visa. It does not entitle the applicant to enter and remain in Ghana for six months. On each entry into Ghana, the period of permitted stay in Ghana will be endorsed by Ghana Immigration at the point of entry, usually sixty days
  • • Please note that applicants may be interviewed
  • REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA
  • •Applicant should be resident in Brazil or countries of concurrent accreditation. (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela)
  • •Applicant are required to have a valid passport with expiry date of at least six months from the date of application for visa
  • •Applicant are required to submit the following documents
  • a) Fully completed visa application form, filled in English or Spanish and in BLOCK LETTERS (In Quadruplicate). Application form can be downloaded from this website. (www.ghanaembassy.com.br)
  • b) Four recent passport size photographs
  • c) Invitation letter or Hotel reservation. Invitation letter should be written in English by the invitee or partner in Ghana, guaranteeing the applicant’s stay in Ghana and stating the reasons for the visit
  • d) Introductory letter. Introductory letter should be written in English by the applicant or applicant’s employer, stating the reasons for the visit and guarantee that the applicant would not overstay his /her visa in Ghana
  • e) An international certificate of vaccination for Yellow Fever
  • f) A return flight ticket reservation
  • g) Proof of payment
